Hi Sherry,

Well, after high school, I worked for the phone company for 17 years around Grass Valley and Auburn. Then in 1985 my husband, daughter and I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii. Lived there for 10 years. Had a fishing boat, and many good times.

We had been to Brookings, Oregon before, and liked the smallness of it. Grass Valley had gotten big, and Kailua-Kona got big before we left there, also. Brookings was close to my mom's place in Redding, CA (5 hours by car), so we moved here and love it.

I work part-time at Harbor Water, and do lost of free work for the Garden Club here. Moved my daughter, son-in-law and grandson here about 2 years ago from Hawaii. Now I have another grandson. I love having them all close-by.

I also love to garden and I do graphic work on the computer; ads, posters for events, a garden brochure for the Chamber of Commerce, etc.
