Aren't PC's great! Never
could spell, now the computer does it for me; always had a hard time
with sentence structure, now this little wonder always bails me out;
and, my greatest downfall, penmanship, and what do you know the
thing has almost an infinite selection of font types (well 40 or 50
anyway). I just couldn't have asked for more.
Actually Steve Osterholt told me about the site and
suggested that I take a tour through some fun memories, thanks again it
was great.
As for me, after graduating from Chico, I came to
Maysville in 1970 to take a job as a Probation Officer, worked for Yuba
County for 10 years, had a chance to work on a project for the State
Board of Corrections for two years on contract in 1980, been with the
Board ever since. I was appointed the Board's Executive Director in
1992. My wife is Director of Personnel Services for Yuba County Schools
and since one of us had to commute I've been making the trip to
Sacramento for 20 years, boy how time flies.
We have a cabin at Soda Springs so we are up in your
area quite a bit (love it) and have property on Alta Sierra Sky Park in
Grass Valley where we intend to spend out "Golden Years".
Take care, and thanks again for the walk down memory
lane.
