~ Geraldine “Gerry” Burt ~

Services will be held Tuesday for Gerry Lynn Gobrecht who died Friday following a lengthy illness.  She was 35 years old.

A native of Corning born February 20, 1946, she moved to Grass Valley in 1955 and attended local schools. She was employed as a secretary for several business firms and in the office of her husband's business until illness forced her to quit.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary with the Rev. Andy Owens of First Baptist Church of Grass Valley officiating.  Internment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Grass Valley.

Mrs. Gobrecht is survived by her husband Bob and daughter Stephany of Grass Valley; her mother, Nellie Rider, of Grass Valley; and father, Melvin Burt, of Central Valley; a brother, Sid Burt of Citrus Heights; three sisters, Jackie Lewis of Rio Linda, Ginger Bevard of Grass Valley and Mammie Gonzalez of Elverta; one niece and seven nephews.
