~ Tim Knox ~ 

Tuesday, November 30, 1982 ~ In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held for Dr. Timothy Steven Knox, a veterinarian, who died Monday at a Nevada City hospital after a lengthy illness.  Dr. Knox, 35, was a Lake Wildwood resident.

A native of Arcata, he was the son of Dr. George and Juanita (Nita) Knox.  He was educated in Grass Valley schools and graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1965. Dr. Knox graduated from the University of California in Davis in 1971. He practiced his profession in Bakersfield, San Rafael and Los Alamitos.

Survivors include his wife, the former Sydney LeBlanc; a stepson, Bryson and a son, Steven; his father; and a sister, Annette Cordano. His mother predeceased him in 1981.

Cremation was under direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary and internment will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.  Contributions to the Nevada County Thrift Shop-Cancer Aid are preferred. Cards for this purpose are available from Hooper and Weaver.
